Ms. Pace developed a serious interest in photography while living overseas and initially worked exclusively in black and white. She has taught darkroom techniques and exhibited her work in group and solo exhibits both abroad and in the mid-Atlantic region. For many years, she ran her own business as a child photographer. Over the past decade, she has shifted to color photography and now works almost exclusively with digital images. Her most recent solo show, “A Sense of Place,” featured 50 works at Friendship Village Center.
A painter as well as photographer, Ms. Pace is represented by the Foundry Gallery at Dupont Circle. Her work has appeared in print and the media, including The Washington Post and the PBS program “About Town.”
