Camille Mosley-Pasley obtained her first camera and enlarger at the age of 14. Within a year she was in business as a portrait photographer with neighbors, fellow students and teachers as patrons. She studied Commercial Photography at Penn Career Center, a vocational high school in Washington, DC and earned a BFA in Fine Art from the Corcoran College of Art & Design, concentrating on sculpture and ceramics.
Currently, she owns and operates a portrait studio, acts as an art consultant and independent curator, exhibits constantly, is director of Touchstone Gallery and serves as co-chair of Market 5 Gallery. In addition to portrait and event photography, Camille began documenting the rapid transformation of Anacostia in S.E. Washington, DC.
