Linnie Greene, a native Tar Heel, currently resides in Baltimore, MD. She is a self-taught artist and photographer specializing in handcolored prints. According to an article in Art and Antiques magazine, "Linnie Greene’s handcolored prints qualify as fine art rather than photojournalism. Her adventurous photographic journeys recall the autobiography of Margaret Bourke-White. Greene’s handcolored prints are a reminder of rice-dyed photographs from the 19th century."
Greene captures her images on film and her interests range in diversity from environmental portraiture, travel and photojournalism to cityscapes and landscapes.
